The new building is progressing well

helping in achievinng our aim.
Work on the inside of the building
is progressing well with plasering of walls and ceilings. Photo

toilets. Photo 2 (centre) shows the entrances to the new kitchen
area from where the bar will be built and the door to upstairs
and Photo 3 (right) shows plastering taking place in the new changing
rooms.
The new storeroom for grounds machinery
etc. is awaiting plastering which will be completed in the next
few days.

the near end the new officials changing rooms which can double
as public toilets for field events where the whole pavilion is
not required.

Our old pavilion was in need of some
serious rebuilding to enable the BPFA to continue to host cricket,
football and social events. In all some £110,000 has been
raised to provide end users with the facilities that they need
to progress up their respective leagues.
The BPFA have set this as a target
to achieve this year with a combination of grants and fundraising.
With this and grants we will be able
to provide new changing rooms, Offiicial's rooms, new toilets
including a disabled toilet, kitchen facilities, a score box,
new bar, meeting room in the pavilion so it can be used for small
functions.
Having raised the funds for the build
we now need to raise some additional funding to equip the building
with tables, chairs, bar equipment etc.
We are actively looking at further
funding through grants and fundraising ideas. Our Events
page gives some more information on fundraising events we have
planned.
