"YELDEN, (or Yeilding), a parish in the hundred
of STODDEN, county of BEDFORD, 5 miles (E.) from
Higham-Ferrers, containing 279 inhabitants. The living
is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Bedford, and diocese
of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £ 13.13.4.,
and in the patronage of the Rev. E. S. Bunting. The
church is dedicated to St. Mary."
