"WESTLEY-WATERLESS, a parish in the hundred
of RADFIELD, county of CAMBRIDGE, 5 miles
(S. S. W.) from Newmarket, containing 158 inhabitants.
The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese
of Ely, rated in the king's books at £10. 5., and in
the patronage of the Heirs of Mrs. Dresser. The
church, dedicated to St. Mary, has a circular tower."
