"LITTLE GIDDING, a parish in the hundred of
LEIGHTONSTONE, county of HUNTINGDON, 5 miles
(S.W. by S.) from Stilton, containing 64 inhabitants.
The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry
of Huntingdon, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the
king's books at £7 6. 4., endowed with £200 royal
bounty, and in the patronage of the Crown. The church
js dedicated to St. John."
