"LITTLE PAXTON, a parish in the hundred of
TOSELAND, county of HUNTINGDON, 2 miles (N.) from
St. Neot's, containing 301 inhabitants. The living is a
perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Great Paxton,
in the archdeaconry of Huntingdon, and diocese
of Lincoln. The church is dedicated to St. James. The
river Ouse runs through the parish."
