BILBROUGH:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1868.

"BILBROUGH, a parish in the Ainsty, county of York, 4 miles to the S.W. of York. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of York, value £274, in the patronage of T. L. Fairfax, Esq, The church contains the tomb of General Lord Fairfax, who died in 1671. There is an endowed school for 22 scholars, with an income of about £14 a year.,"
