Lord's Prayer
OUR Father which art in Heaven,hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdon come. Thy will be donee in Earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us uor trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the king- dom and the Power and the Glory, for ever & ever, Amen. The Apostle's Creed.
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of Heavenand Earth: And in JESUS CHRIST his only son our Lord who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried, he descended into hell, the third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into Heaven and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from thence he shall come to jusdge the Quick and the dead...... I believe in the Holy Ghost: The hold Catholic Church: The communion of Saints: The forgiveness of sins: the resurrection of the body: and the Life everlasting. Amen MEMORANDUM
This CHURCH was rebuilt at the Expence of the Parishonersof Seaton Ross and the Chancel, by William Haggerston Maxwell Constable Esqe.: The same was furnished, with a new Pulpit and Reading desk, and properly ornamented by the Minister of the said Parish in the Year of our Lord 1789
And the not Benefactor to this Church may be forgot: be itremembered, that a new Cornice was made round it, by the Direction, and at the Expence of Mr. Richard Walker of BIELBY............... The Revd. Robt. Robinson Minister Mr Robt. Ibbetson Churchwarden. |
