A parish in the wapentake of Gilling East; 4 miles from Darlington (Co.
Durham), 10 from Richmond, 12 from Northallerton, 44 from York.
Population 388. The Church is a rectory, dedicated to St. Peter, in the deanery
of Richmond, diocese of Chester.
