The list of Benefactions in St. Mary's Church, Raskelf.


Wm. Jackson's bequest left £100 half distributed to the Poor of the Parish of Raskelf and the other half to a Schoolmaster for teaching 5 Poor children of the above distributed at the discretion of the Minister and Chapel-wardens who bought a close with the said money near the White Houses which rent amounts to £7 per Annum for the benefit of the Poor and Schoolmaster. Aug. 28. 1817.

Isabel Jackson's bequest placed out at Interest and distributed at the discretion of the Minister and Chapel-wardens £10 for the benefit of the Poor and Schoolmaster likewise wood sold to the amount of other £10 and both the sums put together and are out at Interest likewise 5s. per Annum paid by Mr. Barrowby of Dishforth to the Poor of Raskelf Mr. Wilkinson, Highthorn, pays £8 per Annum to the Poor of Raskelf.

Another close near Easingwold belonging to the Poor of Raskelf Rent £6 per Annum Aug'st 28th. 1817.
