The place:
A parish, comprising High Hutton and Low Hutton, wapentake of Bulmer; 3½
miles from Malton, 15 from York, 18 from Easingwold. Population 445. The
Church, situated in High Hutton, is a perpetual curacy, dedicated to St.
Margaret, in the deanery of Bulmer.
