"NEWTON UNDER ROSEBERRY, a parish in the N.R. of Yorkshire."


"ROSEBERRY TOPPING, (given as "OUNSBERRY-TOPPING") in the parish of Newton under Roseberry, in the North Riding of Yorkshire, a steep, high, verdant mountain, not far from Gisborough, in Cleveland, which has a most delightful prospect, and is regarded by the sailors, as a sea-mark, From a rock near the top of it, there issues a spring, commended for sore eyes."
