Valued in 1707, at £10. 10s. In the Parliamentary Survey, vol. xviii. pages 521-526, recommended to be made a parish.
Augmented in 1766. with £200; in 1786, with £200; in 1810, with £200 from the Parliamentary grant; and in 1824, with £200 -all by lot.
A Mrs. Overton, by her will, made a handsome augmentation, but which became void by the statute of mortmain.
