The plaque giving Church enlargement information in St. Mary's Church, Great Ouseburn.


AD. 1823

This Church enlarged, The expence thereof being
defrayed by Voluntary Contributions and by a
Grant of 60£ from the Society for promoting the
enlargement and building of Churches and Chapels.

By the enlargement 120 additional Sittings have been
obtained and in consequence of the said Grant 60 of
that Number are hereby declared to be free and
unappropriated for ever; and are in addition to
70 formerly provided.
