"HUDDERSFIELD, (given as "HOTHERSFIELD") a parish in the West Riding of Yorkshire, 134 cm. 161 mm. from London, was long the seat of the Talbots. It stands on the Calder, is one of the 5 Ts. in this Co. most noted for the cloathing trade, and has a Mt. for kerseys every Tu."
