The Charity of
John Holdsworth. of Bram
-ley Grange, who by his Will

bearing date ye 2d, of September 1678,
Gave to John Lodge & his Heirs, one
Close called ye Ox Close, lying in Kirby
-malzeard, provided & upon Condition
that he ye said John Lodge, his Heirs
& Assigns distribute ye Yearly Rents &
profits of ye Sd. Close, One half to ye poor
of Grewelthorp, ye Other half to ye poor of
Kirbymalzard Yearly & for Ever on ST,
Paul's Day being ye, 25th, of January

Also be it remembered,
that 28 Pounds which belonged to
the Poor of ye low Parish, ye interest
of which was to be divided equally,
among them Yearly, was in ye Year 1719,
put to ye use of ye Parish repairs, for which
ye Parish is to pay. 28 shillings to ye poor
aforesaid, Yearly on Easter Tuesday for ever.
