be buried in church yard of Leeds. To the poor, 13s. 4d. To the Vicar of Leeds, for tythes and oblations
forgotten, 2s. Goods to be equally divided into three parts; One part to Elizabeth M., my wife, one
to my children, and the other to pay my debts, etc. To John and Francis M., my sons, all my lands
in the feilds of Woodhouse and Leeds; they to pay thereout to Elizabeth, my wife, xls. yearly, and
to each of their three sisters, my daughters, Dosabell M., Jennet M., and Anne M., so moche money as
shall of their child's portions be due to them to the value of £24 13s. 4d. on marriage. To said John
and Francis M., not to sell the said lands to anyone but their own bretheren. To Elizabeth, my wife,
my fermhold in Burley, now in my tenure, for four years after death, if she live so long unmarried.
After the said four years, my son, Henry M., to have one half with my said wife, except the mansion house
laitlie builded, to be my wyf's in form aforesaid; they paying the Lord's rent. If my wife die or
marry, Son Henry M., to have all my whole interest therein, on condition he neither sell nor let the
same except to children, the said John and Francis M. Wife Elizabeth and son Henry, executors. John
More [my brother], Richard Symson, William Clerke, Gilbert Kirke, and Richard More, all my cosyngs, supervisors.
Witnesses - Richard More, Thomas Dawson, Thomas More, Arthure Armitage, and Henry Kitchen, and others,
as William Clarke. -
