December 1572, and proved 11 February 1572. To William W., my son, and his heirs, all my
lands &c., in Armley which I lately purchased of Robert Killingbeck, of Chapel Allerton, gentilman;
remainder to Richard W., my son, and his heirs. To cecilye, my wife, my fermhold in Armley for
two years, then half of fermhold during widowhood. To my son, John W., yonger, and Thomas
W., the other moitie of my fermhold after two years, and the whole after the marriage or decease
of my wife. To John Walker the elder, my son, 5£. To said William W., my son, £. To
Thomas Cawdray, my son-in-law, 5£. To his son, "Robert C., one ewe. To my daughter
Elizabeth Walker, 40s. To my daughter Cecily W., 40s. To my godchildren, 4d each. Residue
to be divided amongst my wife and five children which be unmarried, ie., John W., yonger, Thomas,
Richard, Elizabeth, and Cecilie W. Executors - Cecily, my wife, John W., yonger, my son, and
Thomas W., my son. Witnesses - William Evers, Rauf Symson, Thomas Walker, my brother,
Robert Cawdray, William Bromhead, John Walker, the elder, my son, Thomas Cawdray, and
others.
