1580; proved 7 March 1580: Body to be buried in the midd alley of Leeds parish church. To
Jennet D., my eldest daughter, one coverlett, one cupborde, and one standbedd. To Frances D.,
my yonger daughter, one greate panne, and one brasse potte. Residue to be divided into three
partes; one to Agnes, my wife; one to daughters Jennet and Frances; and the third for my debts
&c. Residue to daughter Frances, whom I make executrix. Brother-in-law, William Wyse, of
Leeds, Kirkgate, gardein to said Frances during her minority. Witnesses - John Bussy, William
Wyse, George Sympson, and Thomas Olreade, with others.
