Will of John Ottes, of Farnley, parish of Leeds, slater [Reg. Test. 21, Fol. 347], dated 24 January
1578; proved 7 May 1579: - To Jane Treves, wife of William T., one lattinge candlesticke, after the
decease of my wife. To Anne Grene, my goddaughter, 12d. To Isabel Rigge, wife of George R.,
one iren raynge, with a paire of bregis thereto belonging. Rest to Agnes, my wife, whom I make
sole executrix. To John Smethes, one iren harrow and one great hammer, with my wymble
parys, and such like ymplementes. Witnesses - Thomas Walker, John Barnard, John Smethes,
and William Walkar.
