The place:
A Chapelry in the parish of Ripon, in the lower division of Claro, Liberty of
Ripon; 6 miles from Boroughbridge, 43 from York, 212 from London.
Population included with Ripon St. Peter and St. Wilfred. The Church,
dedicated to the Holy Trinity, is a perpetual curacy.
