In 1972 the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches united and as a result, Sedbergh Congregational Church became a United Reformed Church. Sedbergh United Reformed and Methodist churches amalgamated around 2018 to form Sedbergh Cornerstone Community Church. This church uses the the former Methodist Church building, the former United Reformed Church building in Main Street (in this photograph) being put up for sale. [Cumbria Archives]
