"SEDBERGH, a parish in the W.R. of Yorkshire."


"DENT, in the parish of Sedbergh, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, in Craven, of which 2 inh. were witnesses in a trial at York assizes, in 1664, the father near 140 and the son 100 years old. It stands on the r. Dent, N. of that called the County-Stone."
