A Memorial of Several Charities given to the Poor of Todwick, as follows. Mr. Thomas Marshall gave form'ly the sum of 7 Pounds, ye interest of wch. Is given Yearly. The Lady Jane Wasteneys gave £2.0s.0d., ye Intst. Of wch. given Yearly. 1702. Anthony Fox Yeoman gave Ten Shillgs. to wch. Town gave Ten more. The Honble. Thomas Sanderson Esqr. gave £5.0s.0d ye. Intst. given Yearly. 1712. His Grace Thomas Duke of Leeds gave £20.0s.0d, £5, of wch. were given to ye Poor at ye date, ye Intst. of ye Remr. viz. £15.0s.0d given Yearly.
