Church Service Arrangements

We welcome all residents of Renhold Parish and friends from other Parishes to worship at our Church. The guidance set out below is just to keep you advised.

Baptisms

1. We welcome baptisms from families who have close association with Renhold Church

2. Baptisms are usually celebrated within the context of the 11.00 am Service on Sundays

4. Parents must meet with the Parish Priest for Preparation prior to their child's baptism.

5. Godparents have to be baptised members of The Church.

6. No photographs are permitted during the ceremony. Arrangements can be made with the officiant for pictures to be taken after the service.

Confirmation Preparation

Preparation can be undertaken after consultation with the Parish Priest

Marriages

1. Couples entitled to be married in All Saints Church are:

a. When one of the Parties is resident in the ecclesiastical Parish of Renhold

b. When one of the Parties is a regular attender at All Saints Church, with their name on the Electoral Role

c. Other situations will require an Archbishop's licence

2. No photography is permitted during the ceremony. Arrangements can be made with the officiant for pictures to be taken after the service.

3. No video cameras are to be used during the ceremony other than a Video operator authorised by the Parish Priest

Music

Appropriate organ music will be provided by Michael Brooks, our Organist and Director of Music of All Saints, in consultation with the couple being married. All musical selections must be approved by the Director of Music and the Parish Priest. If the couple wishes a different organist to play, the All Saints organist must be consulted and will receive the customary fee. Amplified music is not allowed in the church.

Burials

Only residents of the Ecclesiastical Parish of Renhold or those with a close association with All Saints Church, can be buried in the churchyard and the same applies to cremated remains

These can be arranged in respect of homes within the Ecclesiastical Parish of Renhold by request to the Parish Priest

On informing the Parish Priest, he will make visits as appropriate
