"GREAT RAVELEY, a parish in the hundred of
HURSTINGSTONE, county of HUNTINGDON, 3 miles
(S. W.) from Ramsey, containing 222 inhabitants. The
living is a perpetual curacy, with Upwood, in the archdeaconry
of Huntingdon, and diocese of Lincoln, and
in the patronage of Earl Sandwich. The church is
demolished. There is a place of worship for Wesleyan
Methodists."
