STUBBIN, ELSECAR.
(CONGREGATIONAL.)

Several members of the churches of West Melton and Masborough resolved, about the year 1838, to erect a chapel for their own accommodation, and being poor, and unable otherwise to contribute, they dug the foundations themselves. The chapel cost about £1,600. In 1840 a church was formed by the Rev. M. Docker.
