Console Type 60

The Console 60 came into use in the late 1940s. It is a moving coil PPI display (i.e. the deflection coil is rotated around the neck of the CRT).
The console is self contained in that it contains the power supply, deflection and video amplifiers along with the height finder control and switching for back to back radars. This example is operational.
