Console Type 64

The Console Type 64 was a fixed coil PPI display console designed for use on ROTOR Phase1 stations in association with Type 14 and Type 80 radars. The design was started in 1949 and was in operational service in 1953. It was later modified for use on Phase 1A Radar sites where it also displayed the height finders, and was also used on Linesman/Mediator sites.
This example dates from the early 1950s and is fully functional at the Signals Museum.
