"HAYTON, a parish in the wapentake of Harthill; 2½ miles SSE. of Pocklington; Hayton cum Beilby, is a vicarage, present incumbent Rev. Charles Ryves Graham, it is under the patronage of the Dean of St. Peter's, York; the church (see Churches for photograph) is dedicated to St. Martin. Population, 177."


"BIELBY, in the parish of Hayton, wapentake of Harthill, and liberty of St. Peter's; 2¼ miles SW. of Hayton, 6 miles WNW. of Market Weighton. There is here a Chapel of Ease under Hayton. Pop. 239."


"TRENWICK, a single house in the parish of Hayton, and wapentake of Harthill; 1 mile SE. of Hayton, 3½ miles NW. of Market-Weighton."
